EDC Fire Safe Council Awarded $1.7 Million !!!

We were notified on Friday, August 3rd that the El Dorado County Fire Safe Council was awarded four CAL FIRE grants totaling $1,739,538.  Two grants will benefit the entire western slope of the county, Residential Chipping and Green Waste removal and the Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP).   Two other grants will benefit the communities of Pollock Pines (Weber Creek Fuel Reduction) $624,880 and Patterson Ranch (Diamond Springs fuel reduction) $ 525,980.  These grants were made possible by hard working Fire Safe community volunteers.  Thanks for your time, talent and dedication.
