Fire Danger Increases Due to North Winds
CAMINO - "Due to drying north winds in the Sierra Foothills, the fire danger has increased dramatically and will remain high through
today and tomorrow. Burning has been temporarily suspended in the Amador-El Dorado Unit of CAL FIRE through December 1st. Homeowners are strongly encouraged
to check their old burn piles and make sure they are out. Winds can cause old burn piles that are smoldering to reignite and burn actively causing fire to
spread quickly" cautions Amador-El Dorado Unit Chief Kelly Keenan.
